In cooperation with SonnenKlee GmbH: Natural building, sustainable living, and the use of state-of-the-art building physics – straw bale construction has demonstrated for over 100 years that ecological building doesn't have to be a compromise. From April 8th to 12th, 2026, an intensive course will take place in Lower Austria (near Amstetten) , combining theory and practice in straw bale construction.

This five-day course is aimed at architects, planners, craftsmen and anyone who wants to seriously engage with sustainable building.

Why straw bale construction?

Straw bales have established themselves worldwide as a durable, high-performance building material. They meet high technical and design requirements, offer excellent insulation values, and can be adapted to different climate zones and building regulations. Modern straw bale buildings impressively demonstrate what ecological construction can look like today.

The course combines in-depth specialist knowledge with practical application directly on the construction site.
